We use real kitchen chemistry, just like cooking a meal, you can do the same. With just a few simple ingredients (and some empty Badger tins or lip balm tubes) you can mix up wonderfully fragrant and naturally effective "Badgery" products in your own kitchen. We have selected a few simple natural skin care recipes to help you get started.




Organic Cocoa Butter Lip Balm Recipe

  • 6 Parts Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 Parts Organic Unrefined Cocoa Butter
  • 5 Parts Organic Golden Beeswax
  • 3 Parts Organic Castor Oil
  • *1/4 Part Organic Essential Oil of your choice

Melt beeswax on low heat or in a double boiler. Add olive oil, castor oil and cocoa butter to the beeswax. Stir frequently until all ingredients are fully melted. Add essential oils after all other ingredients have been melted. Pour melted product into small tins or lip balm tubes. Wait until the product has solidified fully before capping or moving the product.

* - Essential oil strength & potency can vary, depending on which oil you decide to use. So it may be best to start with a small amount, and work your way up from there!




Organic Cocoa Butter Lip Tint Recipe

Raw Ingredients

  • 6 Parts Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 6 Parts Organic Unrefined Cocoa Butter
  • 5 Parts Organic Golden Beeswax
  • 3 Parts Organic Castor Oil
  • 1/4 - 1/2 Part Cosmetic Grade Iron Oxide (color of your choosing)

Melt beeswax on low heat or in a double boiler. Add olive oil, castor oil and cocoa butter to the beeswax. Stir frequently until all ingredients are fully melted. Add iron oxide after all other ingredients have been melted. Stir vigorously until iron oxide is fully mixed into the product. Pour melted product into small tins or lip balm tubes. Wait until the product has solidified fully before capping or moving the product.
