Position Title: Brand Project Manager
Reports to: Co-CEO

Summary: The Brand Project Manager supports the Badger Mission and Principles as a cross departmental project manager, responsible for ensuring the successful launch of new innovation and branding across all product categories. The Brand Project Manager supports the work of representative project managers and coordinators from each department and provides accountability and overview for the completion of complex coordinated launches with multiple sub-projects. The Brand Project Manager works closely with outside consultants to support the internal execution of their work.


Project Management
• Work with leadership to determine new product priorities and launches.
• Determine project budgets and timelines.
• Oversee the implementation of all product innovation projects and ensure all sub-projects are coordinated and executed with a mission aligned approach, within budget and on-time.
• Ensure internal stakeholders are kept up to date on changes to product launch timelines and budgets.
• Lead a cross-departmental team of sales of project coordinators and managers to ensure excellent communication and that project scopes and timelines align with shared outcome goals.
• Work with internal stakeholders to guide team priorities based on strategic company needs
• Ensure projects follow appropriate processes and serve all department needs.
• Work within company project management tools and seek to learn and improve from each project.
• Hold responsibility for the completion of all product innovation projects.
• Work closely with branding consultants to support product line innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or comparable field.
• PMP Training with experience in web-based project management tools.
• 3+ years of project management experience in CPG, preferably personal care.
• Experience working with operational and technical teams in CPG manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of sustainability connected to product innovation.
• Experience with web-based project management tools is preferred.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work well in team-based environment.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to understand the larger picture.
• Capacity to flourish in an environment of rapid change and high ambiguity.
• Ability to work well independently, think creatively and be a constructive, supportive team member.
• Knowledge of and background in herbal healing products, natural medicinal remedies, and essential oils a plus.

Position Title: Production Associate
Reports To: Production Supervisor

Summary: Badger is currently seeking a full time Production Associate, with specific responsibilities to ensure that all products are manufactured following all FDA and cGMP standard practices and meet all quality control specifications. Using a variety of filling lines and mixing vessels, this position will make our natural, mostly organic body care products, following all Badger standards, which include SOPs for FDA guidelines, safety standards, machine operation, and packaging standards. Badger Production employees are hard workers with the ability to remain calm while working through machine frustrations. They problem-solve on the spot and work together, as a team, to complete their work on time each day.

We’re looking for people who:
• Understand machinery and like to tinker to solve problems
• Follow SOPs and speak up if something needs to change
• Are computer savvy
• Agree that a clean space is a good space
• Work hard all day, on your feet and can lift 50Lb regularly throughout the day
• Think that Fun is Good
• Have some knowledge or working experience in an FDA facility

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Meet customer expectations by producing fresh, high-quality products
• Understand and comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements for working in Production
• Understand and comply with basic safety requirements for working in Production
• Support Lead Operator by assisting with job preparation, including preparing boxes and labels, setting up and staging packaging components, and setting up the lot coder
• Complete training and demonstrate the ability to perform line clearance and line check
• Perform beginning and end-of-day procedures, including powering on and off equipment and ensuring that everything is safely turned off at the end of the day

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of basic computer and MS Office systems
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and through written means
• Ability to work within a team environment to perform tasks and problem solve

Physical Requirements:

Position Title: Fulfillment Associate with Large Order Focus
Reports to: Fulfillment Supervisor

Summary: The Fulfillment Associate supports the Badger Mission and Principles as a member of the Operations team. This role has specific responsibilities to meet customer expectations by picking, packing and shipping complete and accurate orders, meeting customer expectations. The Large Order focus requires the role to learn and understand the shipping and packaging requirements for customers with special instructions. This position ranges from a level II to a level III as knowledge and length of employment grow.

• Meet our customers’ expectations by shipping complete and accurate orders on time.
• Pick, pack and ship orders as needed and directed by Fulfillment Manager.
• Maintain quality control standards on all outgoing orders.
• Maintain all safety and hygiene standards.
• Participate in daily and weekly cleanup of Fulfillment space.
• Contribute to an accurate inventory by accurately recording lots and bins.
• Know the essential functions of Syspro and Starship.
• Know and understand the shipping and packaging requirements for customers with special instructions.
• Support the shipping of key account and international orders.
• Know and understand the shipping and packaging requirements for special “in house” orders i.e.; reps kits and show orders.
• Know the different shipping carriers’ requirements.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment information, as needed.
• Have the ability to work across Fulfillment sub-departments (wholesale, web, large orders).
• Know and understand some advanced functions and basic troubleshooting in Syspro and Starship.
• Stay current with Badger communication by regularly reading e-mail and posted information in the shipping department.
• Attend company and department functions as requested by Fulfillment Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills required, including Windows Office and databases

Position Title: Quality Control Lab Technician
Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor

Summary: The Quality Control Lab Technician supports the Badger Mission and Principles as a member of the Quality Unit through performing testing, documentation, and investigation of incoming ingredients, finished goods, and new products in a timely manner. This role operates independently but will work collaboratively with the Quality Control Supervisor for oversite and direction, to ensure that the Quality Control Laboratory meets regulatory and internal standards.

• Perform testing in accordance to set protocols for all incoming raw materials, batch samples and finished goods.
• Perform testing for sunscreen products on Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and other analytical equipment.
• Collect and ship raw materials, finished goods and other test samples to offsite laboratories for analyses.
• Initiate and investigate deviations, non-conforming results, or out of specification results, with support/review by the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Review test methods, procedures, plans and reports to support laboratory operation.
• Execute protocols for validation and qualification of equipment and processes with support/review by the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Help perform lab equipment calibrations, as needed.
• Help manage inventory of laboratory equipment, supplies and reagents.
• Batch reagents for in-house analytical testing.
• Follow Good Document Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Create new stability testing plans for all incoming products to the QC Lab.
• Work with QA to ensure that stability samples are provided to the QC Lab according to Badger’s master OTC stability testing plan.
• Create new, and update existing, shelf-life reports at required due dates for ongoing production stability and R&D stability projects.
• Laboratory glassware washing.

Experience/Abilities Required:
• A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related discipline is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality Control laboratory or equivalent setting.
• Experience working in a cGMP compliant facility preferred.
• Familiarity with USP test methods a plus.
• Familiarity with analytical methods.
• Confidence with mathematical equations.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Excellent organization and systems thinking.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Syspro or other inventory control programs is preferred.
