Every Badger product is made with the most sustainable packaging option available to us. As we’ve grown over the years, we have developed partnerships with other businesses and created even more avenues for sustainability.
Resea Project
For every Foaming Wash we manufacture, the equivalent 1:1 weight of plastic is removed from the ocean with the help of our friends at the ReSea Project. This is part of our commitment to positively impacting the environment, as well as to promoting a more sustainable future.
ReSea provides a comprehensive approach to sustainability by combining waste reduction, recycling awareness, and environmental enhancement initiatives that remove plastic waste from Indonesia’s ocean and river systems.

Tubes
All Badger sunscreen tubes are made with 50% *post-consumer regrind (PCR) plastic and 50% new plastic. This ensures that the container is more sustainable without compromising comfort or ease of use.
*PCR is a blend of plastics of the same type that have been collected, cleaned, and shredded to make use of them again. The use of these plastics supports a more sustainable manufacturing paradigm and reduces the overall impact of new products on the environment.

Our tins are made of infinitely recyclable steel and sealed with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) cardboard sleeves whenever possible. Our SPF tins are the exception to this since sunscreens are regulated by the FDA.

Close to the Source
Finding the best organic ingredients for our products requires us to get close to the source. We’ve traveled the world to meet the farmers who grow, harvest, and process our ingredients so that we can form lasting professional relationships with them and their communities. Each ingredient is grown and processed with the highest degree of respect for the environment, the workers, and the natural properties of the plant.
