Side by Side: Pregnant Belly Oil and Belly Butter

Pregnant Belly Oil or Belly Butter – which is right for you?

Pregnant Belly Care from Badger

Parenthood is a journey, and the time leading up to birth can be both exhilarating and stressful. After all, you are bringing a new life into this world. That’s not an insignificant feat!

So with everything that may be worrying you, what you’re rubbing into your pregnant belly should be the least of your concerns! This is why Badger offers both a Pregnant Belly Oil and a Belly Butter to support your skin during and after pregnancy.

Not sure which is right for you? Read on as we compare them side by side.

Pregnant Belly Oil

What is it?
A light, easy to apply body oil that absorbs quickly and relieves dry, tight skin.

When should you use it?
Because it absorbs quickly and is non-greasy, Pregnant Belly Oil is best for everyday use during your pregnancy. Apply after bathing to slightly damp skin for maximum absorption. It can also be used as needed to soothe pregnant belly itch and comfort dry, tight, stretched skin. And it’s great for an indulgent massage!

It is important to note that this oil has a light fragrance of rose, vanilla, and lemon. So if you’re particularly sensitive to scents, you might want to consider our Belly Butter, which has no added fragrance

Belly Butter

What is it?
A super-concentrated cocoa butter balm that soothes and relieves dry, tight skin.

How is it different from Pregnant Belly Oil?
Belly Butter is a balm so it contains beeswax and cocoa butter – which intensifies the moisturizing power but causes the balm to absorb slower than the oil.
It has no added fragrance, but it does retain the light, natural fragrance of raw cocoa butter.

When should you use it?
Belly Butter is best for intensive moisturizing. For example, you can use it in the evening when you have time to allow it to absorb.

You might have heard that cocoa butter is really good for skin, and it is! It soothes pregnant belly itch and provides a calming experience for the skin and senses.

Belly Butter can be used throughout pregnancy but is especially useful in the third trimester when skin is really stretching. And it’s so decadent and wonderful you might find yourself reaching for this tin long after you’ve welcomed your new bundle of joy!

Other notable points
Both products are USDA Certified Organic, Gluten-Free, Leaping Bunny Certified (no animal testing), hypoallergenic, and good for all skin types.

You do not need to be pregnant to use these products. Both are amazing moisturizers and can be enjoyed by anyone.
