Position Title: Digital Content Coordinator

Reports to: Communications Manager

The Digital Content Coordinator supports the Badger Mission and Principles as a Marketing team member, making sure that the Badger Voice is consistent across all platforms. This position combines excellent copywriting skills with experience leading digital and social media strategies, including campaign planning and management, creating social media calendars and content, and executing e-mail marketing strategies. The digital content coordinator works closely with the communications manager to ensure that Badger has its best paw forward when communicating with customers and followers.


• Maintain and protect the Badger voice across all outgoing communications
• Serve as lead copywriter for all direct-to-consumer writing, including digital and in-store experiences
• Support in writing wholesale copy and marketing materials where needed

• Create and maintain social media calendar
• Create content across all Badger social media platforms
• Plan and implement social media-hosted giveaways and promotions, including co-promotion with B Corps and mission-aligned companies
• Respond to current events and news and propose social media responses for the Badger brand
• Research and stay up to date on social media trends and best practices
• Report on monthly key performance indicators
• Act as back-up for social media monitoring team as needed

• Write copy for social media and Google advertisements
• Work with outside designers to plan and create ad imagery according to required ad specifications
• Work with external advertising agency to coordinate promotions
• Research and stay up to date on digital advertising trends and best practices

• Create and maintain email marketing calendar
• Create content and write copy for retail marketing emails

• Work with Sales team to plan monthly emails for wholesale customers

Experience/Skills required for Position:
• Minimum of 2 years marketing experience with focus on social media
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in writing or copy writing
• Knowledge of natural products industry and Badger products in particular.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
• Sales, Customer Service, or Retail experience preferred.
• Strong Computer skills required, and have a comfort level maintaining databases and creating informative reports.
• Must be detail-oriented while still able to understand the big picture.
• Ability and willingness to learn new computer programs as required
• Must be comfortable working as part of a team as well as independently.

Position Title: Quality
Control Lead Scientist
Reports to: Quality Manager
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt

The Quality Control Lead Scientist supports the Badger Mission and Principles through performing equipment qualification, test method validations, and outside lab qualifications while also supporting the QC team to ensure timely and compliant testing, documentation, and investigation of incoming ingredients, finished goods, and new products. This role operates independently but works with the Quality Manager for oversite and direction and to ensure that the Quality Control Laboratory meets regulatory and internal standards.


• Act as lead Quality Control Scientist to provide guidance and support to additional QC lab staff
• Train qualified staff on QC assays and protocols
• Follow Good Document Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Work with R&D on new product specifications and release parameters
• Perform testing according to set protocols for incoming ingredients, finished goods, and new products.
• Revise protocols to meet best practices, as needed
• Develop and validate new testing protocols with the support of the Quality Manager, as needed
• Perform stability studies based on set protocols and make shelf life recommendations. Develop new plans for stability testing, as needed
• Document the testing performed as well as calibration and other lab maintenance activities
• Audit laboratory space or outside testing facilities, as needed
• Follow, develop or execute protocols for validation and qualification of equipment and processes with the support of the Quality Manager.
• Assist in the selection and installation of new equipment, as needed
• Investigate deviations, non-conforming results, or out of specification results, as needed
• Ensure all safety standards and protocols are followed and make recommendations, as needed


• A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years laboratory experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory or equivalent setting.
• Experience working in a cGMP compliant facility, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Experience in assay development and qualification.
• Familiarity with analytical methods and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Position Title: Variable Schedule Operations Associate
Reports to: Variable Operations Team Leader
Position Type: regular, non-exempt, working variable hours

Badger is looking for an engaged and enthusiastic person to join our Operations team.

Become a Variable Operations Associate at Badger and support our Production, Packaging, and Fulfilment departments!

This position is great for someone who enjoys a variety of work and wants to mix-it-up during their workday. For example:
• Work with our amazing Production team creating our products and ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.
• Maybe your day will be spent in Packaging, assembling our sunscreen displays or putting our holiday lip balms into gift boxes.
• You can also help get our products shipped out to customers through supporting the Fulfillment department - pick finished products and package them up for our beloved Badger fans

No matter which job you're doing, you’ll need to adhere to our cGMP, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as working both as part of the larger Badger team and on your own.
This part-time role has varied hours and the shift can change weekly (within the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday) depending on business needs.

Variable Schedule Operations Associate supports the Badger Mission and Principles as a member of the Operations team and may work in Production, Fulfillment, the Warehouse or Packaging. This position is designed to support W.S. Badger Co. through variations in work demand. Variable Schedule Associates are scheduled weekly, shifts and hours vary on an as needed basis throughout the year.

Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision. Experience using computers.

Physical requirements for the job include but are not limited to: standing and bending; lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.; pulling and pushing a shipping cart; grasping and reaching for small objects; repeatedly throughout a typical 8 hour shift; as well as the ability to walk significant distances over the course of the day. Employee must be able to perform these essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
